In addition to fishing, the villagers of Mihola\u0161\u0107ica and Stivan also engage in olive growing, wineculture and agriculture for their own needs. Life on Cres was hard, our elders said, but simple and beautiful. It was lived in harmony with nature, from land and sea, for better or for worse. Tradition, family and customs were everything, on Cres as it once was. Mihola\u0161\u0107ica is one of the most famous and beautiful destinations on the islands of Cres and Lo\u0161inj, primarily thanks to its long pebble beach. The beach is known for its exceptional sunset, the longest on the island since it is located on the western side of the island of Cres, and for its crystal clear sea and refreshing springs of fresh water, the so-called \"vrulje\".
